FAQ-Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Do I have to exercise everyday?

No. If you do cardiovascular exercise 3-5 times a week for at least 20-60 minutes each time, you will see results.

2) Do I need to do resistance training each time I exercise?

No. If you are exercising on consecutive days, you want to do resistance training every other day, to give your muslces a day to relax in between.

3) Do I need to have a doctor's referral before I can start exercising?

Not necesarily. If you have any medical problems that will affect how much you can do, that will be decided. However, if you have not been to your physician in more than over a year, you may need to check with your physician before starting an exercise program.

4) If I want to lose weight and am starting an exercise program, do I need to change my diet?

Not necessarily. If you are already eating relatively healthy or do not have the money to change your diet/eating habits at the time, then the exercise will be most important. Of course, if you are eating properly and exercising at the same time, you will see quicker and more noticeable results.

5) How can I speed up my metabolism?

EXERCISE. Exercise is the only way to get your metabolism to speed up.

*Skipping meals will only make your metabolism slow down.
